Industry Veterans Launch New Agency
Model
John McNamara, formerly
Chief Operating Officer of Asset Management Outsourcing, Inc. and
Bret Crandall, formerly Director of Operational Support for Focus
Receivables Management, LLC, today announced their intent to launch a
new class of debt collection agency. Named Fidelis Recovery
Solutions, Inc. after the Latin word, “fidelis” which means faithful
and trustworthy, this new venture is structured to provide both low
cost and customized solutions for debt buyers and original creditors.
“This is truly an exciting venture,”
said McNamara, President and CEO of Fidelis. “We are building an
agency the right way from the ground up. As a startup, we can build
in the flexibility, reliability, and atmosphere for innovation that
our clients and employees deserve. Furthermore, this green field
approach allows us to keep down the cost of non-revenue generating
infrastructure.” McNamara went on to say that operators in agencies
large and small spend a good deal of time and effort working through
and around legacy systems, dialers and cultures. The chance to build
integrated systems that support a healthy production culture rather
than get in the way of it gives Fidelis a leg up at a critical
juncture in the debt collection industry.

firm, “Many of my peers lament the consolidation of creditors in our
industry. I have a different take on things; there are now more
creditors than ever. Some of the most sophisticated and demanding
creditors today are debt buyers. They need good, licensed, bonded,

challenges they face and can deliver. Fidelis is being built
recognizing that the business model for our industry has changed.
